Meet Tonka, a gorgeous 4-year-old sorrel Appaloosa Quarter Pony gelding standing 13.2 hands tall with a facial strip, 4 white stockings, and an eye-catching Appaloosa blanket. Tonka brings all the color you could ask for along with a remarkably quiet, calm mind and a stocky build strong enough for adults to enjoy as well.
Arena Performance & Jumping: Tonka is exceptionally well trained to ride and super handy in the arena. He moves off seat and leg cues, picks up both leads, lopes cute circles, makes flying lead changes look easy, and pops over jumps in both Western and English tack.
Trail, Road & Ranch Work: A quiet, steady gelding on the trail who confidently crosses logs, water, and bridges. He is safe on the road in heavy traffic, works cattle, and has been hooked to a cart and driven around the farm. Safe for almost any level of rider, making him an ideal mount for kids or grandkids.
Soundness & Temperament: Tonka is 100% sound, calm-natured, and an absolute joy to have around the barn.
Veterinary Inspection: Accompanied by an official Pre-Purchase Examination from King Veterinary Clinic (Dr. Jalen King, DVM) updated to June 26, 2026. The exam confirmed zero abnormalities, no evidence of lameness at the trot, and clean flexion tests across all 4 limbs.
