Lux would love to hang with you all day, get loved on, and show you what he knows in the dressage arena! This horse is such a fun ride - easy on the aids, with excellent lateral movements, and even a green flying change. He’s been in professional training for years, shown successfully through 2nd level, and been an excellent lower-level schoolmaster for his amateur owner. Unfortunately, Lux is not suitable for recognized shows anymore due to needing maintenance medication that is not USEF legal. For this reason he’s offered at an extraordinarily good price for his quality to a home that will be sympathetic to his needs. He has been very thoroughly vetted and has no known injuries or defects. There is nothing that should impede him from doing dressage and going to non-recognized shows - he’s a horse that loves having a job.

Lux is generally a confident, well-behaved guy, and goes comfortably in a variety of environments. He went to several recognized shows as a young horse, and his amateur owner recently had fun riding him this summer at a local schooling show. She also hacks him around the property. He is a big, athletic warmblood, however, so he’s not recommended for a timid beginner.
