Bandito is a beautiful, titled BLM Mustang gelding standing approximately 14 hands, with the potential to go in a dressage direction with further training.
He is well broke and suitable for an intermediate rider. He has never offered to buck or rear. He has been on many trails and around cattle, dogs, farm equipment, and vehicles, and will ride out alone. He rides with or without a saddle and with or without a bit.
Bandito loves attention and being ridden, and he is well behaved in a herd setting. He goes barefoot, does fine for the farrier, and is very low maintenance.
He does have a couple of quirks: he can be particular about being sprayed with a hose, and loading him requires a specific trick that I will gladly show his new owner. Once loaded, he trailers well.
I am only selling because I am getting out of horses. I would prefer a home where he will be ridden and used regularly. A dressage home willing to develop his potential would be wonderful, but finding the right match is my priority. References requested.
