Meet JJ Shiney Playgun ("JJ"), an outstanding 5-year-old registered American Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.0 hands tall with 4 white stockings, a facial strip, snip, and a brand on his left hip. Sired by TRR Model Playgun (by Playgun and Freckles Playboy) and out of Princess Two Shiny (by Two Eyed Red Buck and Shining Spark), JJ packs elite reined cow horse and NCHA royalty into a gentle, versatile frame.
Arena Performance & Jumping: JJ is well-trained under saddle, picking up both leads, moving off seat and leg cues, and tackling arena obstacle courses like a seasoned pro. He steps up for performance, carries multiple riders without a fuss, and enjoys popping over low jumps.
Trail & Competition Experience: Extensively ridden on trails, JJ confidently crosses logs, water, brush, and any trail obstacle encountered. He has been hauled to trail horse competitions with great success and handles road riding smoothly.
Temperament & Ground Manners: Steady, pleasant, and easygoing disposition. Fully registered with AQHA papers (#6131708), he stands great for the farrier and loads into and out of the trailer effortlessly.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an official Purchase Exam Report from Black Rock Equine Clinic (Dr. Gary Fouts, DVM) updated to October 2, 2026. The evaluation noted good overall condition, normal heart/lung vitals (temp 100.2°F, pulse 36, resp 18), hoof testers negative on all 4 feet, no lameness seen in hand or on the lunge line, and clean limb flexions.
