✨ MABEL — IRISH HERITAGE, A BEAUTIFUL FUTURE ✨
🇮🇪 Available to US buyers 🇺🇸
An impressive young mare with presence, substance and the sweetest personality.
Mabel is a 3-year-old, unbroken Irish Draught mare, standing at 17hh, we anticipate her to make 17.1/17.2hh.
With her substantial frame, ample bone and plenty of filling out ahead, she offers so many of the traditional Irish Draught qualities we love.
☘️ A pedigree to be proud of
Sired by Gortfree Lakeside Lad C1, out of Dawns Diamond Clover C1, her pedigree includes Gortfree Hero, Glidawn Diamond, Sea Crest and Castanna—a wonderful heritage of performance Irish Draughts.
💕 A big mare with a gentle heart
Mabel loves human attention and has settled beautifully into life with us. She stables overnight with no stable vices observed and is equally happy being the first to come in or the last to go out.
Warm showers, pampering and being made to feel special are very much her thing! She stood like a professional to be braided and takes the attention happily in her stride.
✨ An exciting prospect to develop your way
Although her arena experience is limited, Mabel has impressed us with her willingness to learn. She has trotted nicely over poles and confidently popped a few small fences at liberty, showing an encouraging, trainable attitude.
We see the potential for a wonderful all-around partner or foxhunter, while her smart movement suggests possibilities for dressage or eventing as her education develops.
With her striking dappled coat, her sire’s beautiful head and a wonderfully kind eye, she certainly knows how to catch your attention.
