15h gelding with a puppy-dog, in-your-pocket personality. He is sound. No health issues. ~60 days under saddle. He is quiet, willing, more whoa than go, and has a great foundation.
He rides off your seat, is working toward consistent one-handed riding, and could easily continue English or Western. He is going nicely at the walk and trot and is still green at the lope/canter.
He has had plenty of real-world exposure:
• Quiet on the trail and in open fields
• Crosses water
• Ridden along the road and exposed to traffic
• Goes through/over obstacles
• Started over small natural jumps
• Hauls off property
• Has been ridden by our kids with occasional instruction
He is young and occasionally needs a confident rider to reinforce his training, but has shown no buck, rear, or other dangerous behavior.
Sound, healthy and an easy keeper.
With his temperament, build and versatility, I think he would make an excellent trail or third-flight hilltopper prospect.
