Oreo is a personable Paint mare with good manners, a steady way of going, and an enjoyable ride. She responds well to rein and leg cues, stands quietly for saddling and mounting, and willingly moves out when asked. She has had some reining exposure and has demonstrated smooth sliding stops, leaving 6–8 feet of slide tracks in the dirt.

She handles varied terrain, walks through water, and crosses tarps. Her trainer has even been known to crack open a Dr Pepper from the saddle, and Oreo doesn’t give the sound a second thought. Her trainer has also performed flips off the saddle on her.

On the ground, Oreo is just as pleasant. She is easy to catch, and you can walk right up to her in the field. She stands well for grooming and enjoys stretching, massage, and bodywork.

With her responsive handle, steady footing, and willing attitude, Oreo is an enjoyable mare to have around and ride.
