Meet River, a gorgeous 3-year-old dapple grey Quarter Horse cross (Appendix) mare standing 15.1 hands tall. River has an outstanding foundation, a quiet disposition, and is ready to excel in any direction you choose.
Arena, Lessons & Jumps: River features three smooth, comfortable gaits and rides equally well under both English and Western tack. She has been used in lesson programs, started over small jumps, and handles arena pattern work with ease.
Trail & Show Experience: Ridden extensively on trails, state parks, and taken to local shows, River handles new environments with total confidence and performs the exact same on or off property.
Ground Manners & Handling: A true lady around the barn who loads and trailers perfectly.
Veterinary Inspection: Accompanied by an official physical examination letter from Advanced Equine of the Hudson Valley (Jeremy Frederick, DVM) updated to March 3, 2026, confirming she is bright, alert, responsive, apparently healthy with normal heart/lung auscultation, no heat or pain in any legs, and no lameness at a walk/trot in hand or on a longe.
