Meet Tahoe, a striking 6-year-old bay Percheron/Friesian x Quarter Horse gelding standing 16.0 hands tall. Tahoe represents the perfect mix of size, stability, and talent, making him a fox hunter's dream, a sturdy trail partner, and a powerhouse in the arena.
Arena, Dressage & Cross-Country: Straightforward and always eager to learn, Tahoe is an absolute blast in dressage lessons and on the cross-country field. He has jumped water, banks, and ditches, showing tons of scope, talent, and three quality, expressive gaits.
Trail & Adventure Ready: Happy to ride alone or in groups, Tahoe has been taken on hunter paces, ridden into town, and even enjoyed beach rides. He is familiar with traveling off-property and is game for any adventure you can dream up.
Temperament & Handling: Possesses great brakes, an even greater mind, and the brains to satisfy both amateurs and professionals. He is great to trailer and easy to manage around the barn.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by a Pre Sale Vet Check Examination Form from veterinarian Katy Lounsbery (Wantage, NJ) confirming normal vitals (temperature 99.1°F, pulse 36, resp 16), normal eyes/ears, normal skin and hair, normal dentition (due for a routine float), and no lameness observed on straight lines or circles.
