If you're looking for a horse with cow sense, heart, and a work ethic that doesn't quit, Shiner deserves a look. And he's Flashy!!
I love him.I've personally ranched and trail ridden this horse for the past three years, and working cattle is where he truly shines. He has experience gathering, sorting, pushing and moving cattle and will gladly put in a full day's work. He's been ridden through rough country and in the mountains, travels out willingly, and is sure-footed and dependable.
Shiner is a beautiful mover with a naturally low headset, collection and plenty of eye appeal. I was told he was originally started in reining, and that foundation shows in the way he carries and handles himself.
He is best suited for an handy rider. He has never offered to buck or rear with me, he does have an alpha mentality and needs someone he respects.
His personality is one of my favorite thing about him. ❤️
He's an absolute in-your-pocket type of horse. He comes to a whistle and will literally run around the pasture with you like a big puppy dog. He's willing, responsive, loves having a job and genuinely happiest when he's working cattle.

Shod freshly 10.14.26, he's ready to go. Stands nice for the farrier. Loads right up in a horse trailer. Tons of good energy. 15 yrs. He is a Quarter Horse and was represented to me as papered; however, I have been unable to obtain his papers, so he is being sold without papers. It's still possible to get them.
