Golden like a coin and smooth like a fine whiskey… Poco is the kind that turns heads everywhere he goes. Standing between 14.3-15hh with that classic buckskin color, light dappling, stout build, and eye-catching presence, this 5-year-old ranch gelding is the total package of looks, talent, and brains. Don’t forget his pedigree with Top Sail Whiz in there, Poco is bred to be a cowhorse that is gentle. He’s the kind of horse that’s built to go to work and make every ride enjoyable. If Poco was an employee he would be the one that showed up early, stayed late and done every task that you asked of him! Poco has all the right credentials, coming from a strong pedigree that traces back to the legendary Topsail Whiz, and it shows in the way he carries himself. With reining training under his belt, he’s soft in the bridle, responsive to your hands and legs, and has all the fancy buttons you could want… he spins both ways, opens/shuts gates, slide stops, he lopes smooth collected circles, has a nice stop, and moves around with athleticism and style. Oh did we mention that he lays down on command??? Whether you’re riding in the arena, checking cattle, or heading down the trail, Poco handles every job with confidence and willingness. Being ranch raised and ranch used, Poco has a great mind and a solid work ethic.
