Introducing Happy the Appy, a gorgeous 10-year-old, 15-hand Leopard Appaloosa gelding who is absolutely covered in spots from his ears to his tail! With his eye-catching color, stout muscular build, and an even more impressive disposition, Happy is the kind of horse that turns heads everywhere he goes and wins hearts everywhere he stops! But what makes this spotted gentleman truly special isn’t just his looks—it’s his incredibly quiet, gentle, and happy-go-lucky personality!
Happy is the definition of safe, slow, and steady! If you’re looking for a horse that will build confidence rather than test it, you’ve found your guy! Happy is exceptionally laid-back, patient, forgiving, and uncomplicated, making him an outstanding choice for beginners, children, older riders, or anyone wanting to learn the ropes of horseback riding. He isn’t in a hurry to get anywhere, doesn’t look for things to spook at, and is perfectly content taking life one easy step at a time. He’s the kind of horse that allows you to relax, learn, and genuinely enjoy every minute in the saddle!
When it comes to trail riding, Happy is as dependable as they come! Point him toward a creek, river crossing, muddy ditch, steep hill, rocky terrain, fallen timber, narrow trail, wooden bridge, or just about any other obstacle Mother Nature can throw his way, and Happy takes it all in stride! He confidently crosses logs, water, brush, and uneven ground without hesitation or unnecessary excitement. He’s not spooky, doesn’t get worked up over unfamiliar surroundings, and maintains that same slow, easygoing pace whether he’s leading the group or bringing up the rear.
