Meet Lexie, a striking jet-black mare with a sleek, glossy coat and not a white hair on her! She has an attractive, refined head, a long, clean neck, a strong topline, and a well-rounded hindquarter that gives her an athletic, balanced appearance. Her overall look, combined with her excellent breeding and willing disposition, makes her an exciting prospect with plenty to offer.
Lexie is sired by Mr Electric Spark (LTE: $102,711.48; progeny earnings: $310,000+) and out of Spook Whiz Jewels (LTE: $74,631.71; progeny earnings: $38,000+). Her pedigree speaks for itself, and she has a wonderful foundation to build upon. With over a year of reining training, Lexie knows all the maneuvers. She has pretty circles, seamless spins, and solid stops. She has been hauled and shown once, handling the experience like a pro!
What makes Lexie especially exciting is her willingness to step outside the reining pen and take on something new. We have started tracking and breakaway roping the dummy off her, sorted cattle, and exposed her to ranch versatility activities. She trots over logs, carries the American flag, and navigates our obstacle course very well. Lexie thrives on learning new things and does an excellent job executing whatever is asked of her.
Out on the trails, she is just as willing. Lexie goes where you point her, handles going up and down embankments, crosses water, and confidently navigates tricky terrain. She has a solid foundation and the versatility to give her next owner options, whether their goals are in the show pen, the ranch arena, or out enjoying the trails.
Lexie is the kind of mare that offers you options. With her eye-catching color, proven reining foundation, quality breeding, and willingness to learn, she has the potential to continue developing in the direction her next owner chooses. Whether you want to pursue a show career or explore other disciplines, Lexie has a great start and an exciting future ahead of her.
