Meet Rue, a stunning, well-built 8-year-old red roan tobiano Tennessee Walking Horse mare standing 15.3 hands tall with four white stockings and eye-catching roan tobiano markings. Rue is a true dream on the trail with an unbelievably smooth gait that makes all-day mountain rides a pleasure.
Silky Smooth Gaited Partner: Features an exceptionally smooth, natural gait under saddle—easily one of the smoothest rides you'll ever sit on. Rides comfortably bareback, double, or in either a snaffle or shank bit.
Colorado Mountain & City Tested: Seasoned trail horse ridden all over the Colorado Rocky Mountains and through downtown Fort Collins. Completely traffic-safe and accustomed to wildlife, bikes, quads, and river floaties.
Fearless Trail Veteran: Crosses water, down logs, bridges, tarps, and thick brush without a second thought. Packs a flag and stays calm around desensitization tools.
Exceptional Ground Manners: Full set of shoes. Comes when called by name, stands quietly for the vet, loads right into the trailer, and behaves wonderfully for the farrier.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by a General Health Exam from Northern Colorado Equine (Dr. Stacey Tarr, DVM) dated September 7, 2026, certifying normal vitals (BCS 6/9, heart rate 38, CRT < 2s), clear gaited movement, and noting a harmless ergot on the LH heel bulb, alongside an official negative EIA Coggins test drawn September 17, 2026.
