Meet Buttercup, an exceptional 5-year-old grade buckskin Rocky Mountain mare standing 14.3 hands high with a neat, small triangular star. Buttercup is a true push-button all-around family horse, offering the rare combination of show-ring potential, breeding versatility, and complete, reliable safety on the trail for riders of any age.
Push-Button Versatility: Ready to shine in the show ring or cruise the trails—ideal for mommas, wives, grandpas, or youth riders looking for a confidence-building partner!
Bombproof Trail & Overnight Camping Veteran: Confidently crosses creeks, water, logs, and ditches, and eases up and down steep hills with total composure. Completely traffic safe, tie-line safe for overnight camping trips, and rides out alone or anywhere in the group without being buddy or barn sour.
Gentle Disposition & Zero Vices: Does not spook, kick, buck, bite, rear, or act mareish in any way. Stays reliable, trustworthy, and identical whether ridden daily or pulled out after sitting for months.
Impeccable Ground Manners: Easy to catch in the pasture, stands patiently to mount/dismount, and comes ready with a fresh set of shoes. Loads and unloads seamlessly from the trailer.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an inspection from Boonesboro Animal Clinic (Dr. Patrick Reister, DVM) dated March 25, 2026, certifying she is healthy and sound, paired with an official negative EIA Coggins test drawn March 24, 2026.
