Meet SmokinHotInHollywood aka Dually. Dually is an extremely cute 4 year old gelding with quite the resume! He is double registered AQHA and APHA. He is an outstanding horse and will excel in any direction he is taken. Dually: - Has been Ridden on trails (like extreme trails) -Rides out alone - Ridden indoor + outdoor arenas - Flag broke - Was ridden in rodeos and parades all summer while carrying flags - Crosses water, bridges, ect - Been used to gather/sort cattle - Has roped the sled and some live cattle - Has a good turnaround, side pass, and backup - He is learning how to do a commanded lead change - He moves off your legs - Neck reins - Loads and unloads from any trailer like a dream - Stands tied to be saddled, bathed, have his feet done, ect - Sound and currently barefoot but has been shod and can be hot shod - Easy keeper - Easy to catch from any pasture or pen - He is a lover and a goofball. Such a sweet sweet personality - Dually has done a few obstacles and was fantastic. -He is not spooky at all - No funny business, no bite, kick, rear, ect - He is a great go with the flow type of horse - He has been hauled all over and experienced many many things. Dually truly can go any direction. He would make a good heel horse, a ranch riding horse, a ranch sorting horse, ranch versatility, trail horse, mounted shooter, ect. I have owned him since he was 9 months old and he has been super easy to train and get along with. I am only selling him because he is not quite big enough to be a head horse, and that’s what I need. If he were bigger he would not be for sale. He is a very nice size coming in right at 14.2 hands. He is very willing and easy to get along with. Show him at AQHA, and APHA events! He could even be a great horse for a confident youth looking for a step up horse. Dually is not a dead head, he will go when asked and has a shockingly big ground covering stride for his size. That being said he needs a confident rider. His stride would scare someone who is timid. Mid October I used him to gather 160 head of cattle off 1000 acres, and then to sort the mommas from calves. It was the two coldest days we have had all year, and it was raining on us hard the second day. He saddled up and rode off perfect. He doesn’t get “froggy” or cold backed, even on a cold day. He is also a point and go horse. We had to run full speed across the pasture to beat the cattle to the corner when they made a break for it, and he didn’t skip a beat He is a solid horse and has never offered to buck since started him when he was 2. His 10th ride I took him on a 3 hour trail ride in Rocky Mountain national park where he had to walk up rock ledges and really pay attention to this feet and he was phenomenal. He is a special horse and continues to be ridden everyday until he is sold. I am not in a hurry to sell him. He is located in Elizabeth, Colorado and has nationwide shipping avail
