Teddys Smart Rolex aka Pinto is a 2023 APHA bay tobiano gelding. He stands 14.2 hh on a stick and weighs approximately 1000 lbs. Here is a nice made, heavy boned, well bred gelding that has been a joy to bring along. Pinto has had close to 5 months of training here and has passed with flying colors. He has extensive experience outside on the trails and rides exceptionally well in the arena. Since his first trail ride he has been a quiet, confident trail horse. This gelding gives you the same ride every time on the trails and isn’t spooky or looky at all. Pinto crosses water, logs, ditches, and isn’t overreactive to deer, etc. He travels with a nice, even headset and is happy whether he’s leading or following. This gelding isn’t buddy sour and will ride away from others without a fight. In the arena, he has a nice walk, trot, canter each way. Pinto bends vertically and laterally and is soft through his gaits. This gelding has nice, comfortable, floating gaits and would make a great ranch riding or I could even see him in English tack. He stops on whoa and backs up nicely. This gelding will side pass each way and will move off your seat and leg. Pinto is quiet minded and has never offered to buck since day one. Overall, he’s more whoa than go and doesn’t take a super experienced rider to get along with him. Continue using him as a trusty trail horse, or finish him in the discipline of your choice! He has enough ability to go absolutely any direction. This gelding stands tied quietly, is great for the farrier, is great for bath time, and loads/unloads/hauls like an old pro. Pinto gets along with everyone in the field. He is up to date on vaccines, coggins, worming, teeth, and farrier. This gelding is currently shod for trail riding, but has nice, big solid feet and gets around great barefoot as well. Pinto sells sound with no vices.
