If you are looking for an extraordinarily loyal, heart-filled gaited mare with show-stopping black tobiano markings, Sweet Cheyenne is a true once-in-a-lifetime partner! Standing a stout, handy 13.3 hands tall, this 4-year-old registered and parentage-verified MFTHBA mare is sired by Top 5 Breeding Sire Southern Sunrises Hotshot and was born, raised, and started right on master breeder Larry Stevens' farm.
Royal Pedigree & Faithful Temperament: Sired by Southern Sunrises Hotshot (by Hall of Famer Southern Sunrise) and out of Feather Hawk. Cheyenne gives her whole heart to her person—once that bond is earned, she is incredibly faithful, loyal, and dependable.
Proven Ozark Mountain Trail Veteran: Experienced riding all around the Ozark hills. Rides out alone without wanting to turn back to the barn, and rides respectfully anywhere in a group (front, middle, or back) on a loose rein. Confidently crosses water, logs, tarps, and barbed wire.
Desensitized Parade & Crowd Pro: Ridden in Marshfield, Missouri's big 4th of July Parade and handled everything smoothly—unbothered by loud sirens, large crowds, popping fireworks, floats, vendors, bicycles, noisy Ferris wheels, strollers, and barking dogs!
Responsive Handle & Easy Keeping: Moves off leg pressure, neck reins, backs up easily, and offers just the right amount of go while remaining relaxed on a loose rein. Meets you at the pasture gate, stands still for baths and fly spray, and loads/unloads like a pro. Also a proven, protective mother who produces sweet, friendly fillies.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by official MFTHBA Registration (#PR22-105919) and UK Gluck DNA parentage verification, and an Equine Inspection Form / Evaluation Certificate from Animal Medical Center, PC (Dr. Colleen McKay, DVM) dated September 2, 2026, certifying normal vitals (BCS 5/9, temp 99.9°F, clear heart/lungs/gut), zero pain or crepitation, and 100% sound movement (not lame walking or trotting on hard surfaces, lunging, or under saddle), paired with an official negative EIA Coggins test drawn August 25, 2026.
