Gia-
Show pony extraordinaire!!
Gia is a 13 year old 13.3 holsteinerxWelsh cob looking for a kiddo to bring to the next level. This little mare is an absolute super star in the show ring- it’s like her home away from home, making her the best teammate for any child looking to step into the show ring wether it’s for the first time, or 100th.
Gia is a well bred pony that possesses three horse-like gaits packed into a child sized package that always gets noticed and high marks. Gia has been showing leadline and intro level locally all summer long with various students and has been receiving phenomenal scores with especially high marks on her gaits.
Gia loves to be doted on, and will stand on the cross ties for hours to be groomed and loved. She is a forward thinking ride, but has plenty of woah and a lesson horse half halt. She certainly has her opinions, and having spent many years as a lesson pony, she certainly knows how to (safely) teach children a lesson when necessary. She is the type of pony that will take advantage of a timid rider (turns into the middle, stops in corners, pins ears to scare rider out of asking her to go forward), so needs a young rider that knows how to be firm, but fair. Once the boundary is established, it will NEVER need to be established again. Because of how easy it is to establish this boundary with her, she has given confidence so some of my more timid riders who have gotten her past this small hump. But the rider does have to be willing to ride through the initial “test”.
She has absolutely no buck bolt or rear. the worst she does is pull the reins from kids, but only when they pull on her too much. She’s extremely brave and has zero spook.
Ideally would love to find a lease interested in competing for Gia, but not necessary. Gia has experience in the hunters however we are a primarily a dressage program. Despite Gias small stature, she can also support a petite adult as well. Adult leasers have more options for participating in hunter paces, off property trail riding and competing if they wish.
Leases with minors require weekly lessons, experienced adults can opt for bi-weekly.

Leases start at $500/month for 2 rides per week
