Novice Friendly! Zero silliness and a phenomenal foundation! If you're looking for a QUALITY prospect that is AM safe - look no further. The hard work is done with this guy. Calling him a "project" would honestly be an insult. He was bred to perfection, started correct and is the type you can show on a Friday and let your grandma ride on a Saturday. Truly an old soul who loves to please. This guy is not your "project" horse or "problem" horse or "average young" horse. He is VERY broke under saddle and does everything he is asked with zero fuss. All he needs is a job and a direction. (Don't let his age fool you - he is better mannered and more balanced than some 3-4x his age.) Soft in the bridle, moves off leg, rides with or without contact, has a nice side pass and nicely balanced WTC. Takes both leads, has worked a bunch over poles and obstacles and is forgiving and patient in everything he does! Don't really know what you're doing? It's okay, he will keep his pace and cover your mistakes while you get it together. Not started over fences (due to age) but has done some trotting over cross rails and never denied! VERY uncomplicated to ride and work with. Pull him from the stall, tack him up and go about your day. On or off property! Zero lunging or prep work needed. He hauls very well and has always remained a gentleman in new locations. Zero bad habits, fantastic barn manners, exceptional ground manners. Puts his head down to bridle. Stands all day in cross ties and for farrier. zero silliness or bad behaviors. I've literally had dead beginners on him.
