I’m searching for my dream horse. I’m located in North Texas. I would prefer to find one in Texas so I can come meet them in person. I might be willing to ship if the price of the horse +shipping is within my budget, you have multiple references, can do a PPE, and will get me as many videos as I ask for plus a live video chat. I will ask you a bunch of questions. If you’re not ok with that, don’t bother offering your horse to me. My budget is currently around 20k for the perfect match. Won’t go 30k or higher. Would prefer to stay around 15k. I was waiting until my budget increased before looking, but you never know what’s out there. I’m willing to wait as long as it takes to find my dream horse within my budget. My budget will increase over time. Looking for a grey Andalusian(open to crosses if they meet the requirements and have flashy movement) Mainly looking at geldings. I can not take an older stallion as the horse will be kept with other horses, including mares. I’ll talk about the home I’ll give them at the bottom of this ad. I love mares too, and will consider them. Geldings just have a special place in my heart. 16.1hh is the minimum. Bigger the better! Looking at ages 1-10yrs. Preferably 5-7 so I can see how they look all filled out. I’m not usually one to care about looks, however I’m searching for my true dream horse. I will be picky. I’m willing to look at older horses as well if they’re the perfect match Any level of training or handling doesn’t matter. They can be a unhandled 6yr old and I’ll consider them. As for the home the horse will have. The horse will have a large stall with run and daily turnout. Turnout is in a large 30acre pasture with other horses both mares and geldings. It’s not a fancy show barn by any means, but all the horses are happy and healthy. I choose this place to board over a show facility because of the awesome turnout. I’m a very gentle rider and trainer. Every instructor I’ve had has told me my hands are “too soft”. I don’t believe there’s such a thing. All my training encourages the horse to work with as little pressure from the bridle as possible, and all from my body. I don’t skip out on any groundwork either. I use a lot of positive reinforcement in my training. I intend to show this horse in dressage and working equitation for fun and the training opportunity. I don’t show to win money or ribbons, and certainly don’t put winning above my horse’s comfort. I keep horses for their whole lives. Through injury and age, I keep them. Only reason I’d ever sell a horse is if we truly can not connect with each other. I have references available of people who board at the facility I’m at, people I’ve trained horses for, and my vet and farrier. Please don’t hesitate to ask me a million questions about how the horse will live should I buy them.
