Don Darco, “Darco” is a 2009, 16.2 hand, imported, Zweibrucker gelding.
I’ve owned Darco for almost 7 years now and I truly love this horse. Anyone close to me would tell you that he is the horse that turned me into a “Horse girl” We have been through an innumerable amount of firsts together and I have learned so much from him about partnership and trust.
Darco has run through the Intermediate/3* level in Eventing but is wanting a slow down.
He would love to pack a young rider or adult amateur around and show them the ropes.
Dressage is probably Darco’s favorite and you won’t sit on another horse that makes you feel like more of a dressage rockstar than him. He has quality and flashy gates that will make you stand out and he will teach you everything you need to know about connection.
Darco is also a blast to jump. He’s brave, agile and has a 10, knees to his ears, jump that will have you feeling unstoppable in the jump ring.
When you’re not in the saddle Darco loves to be doted on and will return the favor in affection and nickers to great you.
Darco has experience carrying adult amateurs and youth riders and is very patient and tolerant to the learning process. He has a great work ethic and is always trying to figure his rider out and will do anything for a treat.
