This striking appaloosa gelding is by Smokin Sixcess who was a money earner himself in the reining and is a son of the renowned $17 million sire, Colonels Smoking Gun. We truly do not believe there is another one out there that not only looks like him, but has the kind heart, talent, and pedigree that he possesses.
Spotify has a heart of gold both in and out of the saddle. He genuinely always tries to please his rider and has a steady mind that you cannot dishevel. This guy has always wanted to stop and be low headed. He will drag his butt at every single gait whether you just sit and say “whoa” or pull on the reins. We have skid loaders, tractors, dogs, cattle, and just about any other object a horse can be scared of and he has no concern. He is by far one of the best in the barn to trail ride. Spotify definitely lives by “slow and steady wins the race” on the trails. He will cross small valleys, creeks, and enter a large body of water willingly.
Now don’t worry, he doesn’t just ride fancy and hit the trails… Spotify is also a certified ranch hand. Jared has done everything on him and I mean everything to the point of ponying wild colts bridle-less with him! Yes there is photo and video proof! Spotify has been in the cattle pens numerous times to catch a momma and calf to be moved. He basically has a PhD in sorting cattle and of course has been heeled on. This guy is SPECIAL!
