Randal is your perfect โhusband horseโ, guest horse, ranch horse, trail horse, baby sitter. You name it he is there for you. We purchased him from friend of ours last December who had owned him since he was 4 and used him in their outfitting camps and for ranch work. Randal has so much experience in the mountains hunting, packing, guiding. He is extremely quiet and gentle. He has a laid back, easy going attitude that makes him a favorite of everyone. He will babysit the youngest and the most inexperienced riders but he's handy and versatile for the ranch hand needing to get a job done. We let our kids ( 9 & 3 ) ride him double all over the mountain. They laugh, play and carry on with out a worry of the moose, deer, birds or any other wild life. Randle takes care of them. He watches where he puts his feet, is sure footed and solid even in the most rough and steep terrain. He is super smooth to ride, happy to mosey along slowly or he will travel out with long, smooth flowing strides. We absolutely love Randal. My wife carries our 3yr old daughter on him, video and pictures camera bags, she can drop the reins and film other horses, he will stand rock solid even with the 3yr playing behind her just waiting patiently to go to the next spot. He has seen miles on the ranch too. Moving, doctoring cattle. Give Randal as much time off as you want and he's the same horse every time. Solid broke, no warm up or non-sense. He gets along well in a herd, or is happy by himself. He doesn't mind being turning out in a big pasture, a dry lot or being in a stall. Randal is great for a bath, stands well for the farrier and vet. He loads in and backs out of the trailer, hauls well. He is up to date on worming, vaccinations, and dental. He comes with complete vet records and has had a basic health exam done. He has a current coggins and all paperwork will be provided for him to travel to his new home.
