I sadly have to rehome my Shire gelding, Elijah, for no fault of his own. I am in a transition time and am not able to keep him. I've had him since he was 8 months old. I trained him myself using natural horsemanship methods. He is laid back but loves to get up and go when you ask. His canter is amazing! I have had him at the camp I work at since 2014. I use him to lead trail rides and for lessons. He loves attention and basically is a big dog- or so he thinks and acts. Lol. We ride him western and bareback. Normally with just a hackamore sometimes just a rope halter. He's also good with a bit. We've been working on bridleless riding. He's doing great at that! He does great riding with other horses but also is great to take out alone. He's not barn or buddy sour. He has good ground manners and is really good at and enjoys liberty work. He also loves jumping but I haven't done much of that though. Hes a joy to work with and be around and is so goofy. He's always making is laugh. He comes up to anyone who goes in the pasture and follows them everywhere and comes running when I call him (most the time 😉) he has excellent feet, especially for a draft- the farriers always say. He's always been barefoot and does great. He's good for farrier, vet and deworming, loves baths, easy to trailer load, good with dogs, ATVs, traffic. UTD on shots, deworming. He is not currently registered, but i have all the paperwork and can have him registered if you want in the Shire Horse Society. Let me know if you have any questions. Asking $15,000 obo. To approved home only. Thank you! Here is a link to my channel so you can see videos of him. https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC7X65gYz3HKyZXvS1PgceZQ
