Amy is looking for her new partner! Amiability aka Amy is a 16.1 hh, 9 year old OTTB mare. Not raced since 2017. Very solid build, with a big barrel and a nice top line! Impeccable ground manners, I let my 2 and 4 year old kids walk all around her loose in the pasture or tied in the barn. Straight and cross ties, stands like an angel for farrier, loads easily, and hauls well. Not mare-ish in the least. Doesn’t get phased by new environments, and has been to numerous clinics and off property lessons. Needs front shoes with pads. Restarted professionally using natural horsemanship techniques, and has done a lot of liberty work. Rides walk, trot, canter, and can be ridden on loose rein. She has a lot of energy and can be strong under saddle so not suitable for beginners. No bolt, buck or rear. She has been ridden bareback in a halter. Very soft off leg yields, with a solid foundation and lots of potential to excel - her best quality is her insane brain! Does low jumps, but would not excel as a jumper. Ridden out on the trails alone but does better with other horses and prefers ring work. Has been successfully bred previously.
