Bentley is a 16.1h, 4-year-old, bay, Friesian/Standardbred cross gelding. He is registered with the Friesian Sport Horse Registry, he is sired by Haite fan North Ster, and his grandsire is Mintse 384. Bentley rides English, Western, bareback, in a halter, will pony another horse, and has been driven as well! He is a tad more whoa than go, and is happy to take things slow and easy, although he will pick up the pace if asked. He has been out on the trails, my family has hauled him to the Cherokee National Forest, and he has taken my sister’s beginner husband out on a group trail ride without missing a beat. He has been introduced to the basics of dressage this spring and is showing an enormous amount of potential! He is easy to load and unload from the trailer, settles quickly in new places, and gets along well with dogs underfoot on the trails or at the barn. Bentley is very easy to catch, handle, saddle, and bridle. He lives in a pasture full-time in a mixed herd but is also fine in a stall. He is an easygoing guy and not in a hurry, or easily spooked. He is well-behaved for the farrier, he wears a size 3 shoe, only shod on the front currently. He would be a delight for an Adult Amatur to bring along with their trainer, or on their own! He would also be an incredible addition to a family as your husband could ride him! I could see this one being an excellent police horse, fox hunter, or winning everything in the dressage ring!
