Gorgeous mare, cow bred. Unfortunately this pretty gal was nearly destroyed by a bad trainer that put a bucking strap on her to start her, she caught her rear hoof in the bucking strap and fell down, damaging her hock permanently. She was then on the rescue pipeline and was not easy to handle, But then I got her and retrained her. She is now normal—she is easy to handle, good for the farrier, good for the vet, stands tied, trailers, etc. Do to her hock injury, she isn’t sound for riding, but my vet deemed her sound for breeding. She hasn’t been bred before, and there have been no attempts to breed her. So she is maiden, no color or genetic tests have been done on her at this point. But I am offering her up for potential rehoming to the right placement with a breeder. Because of her trauma background, it’s very important to me that she is handled correctly and sensitively. She is a very sweet girl who wants to please, and she deserves someone who will do right by her. She was very easy to retrain. She has a good mind. She is also beautiful. Her coat takes on many color’s throughout the year. Currently she is a buckskin with black dapples, by June the dapples will all be gone and she is an extremely shiny dun.
