Knox is a correct, athletic young horse foaled June 2nd, 2024. He is by a Hackney stallion and out of a mare who is 3/4 Percheron and 1/4 Quarter Horse, making him 3/8 draft, and it appears that he is going to have his dam’s gorgeous grey coat. Knox is a bold and personable guy who seems to be very smart and is a quick learner. He’s not a stereotypical dull draft cross- he has the athleticism and energy to suit most any discipline (and along with those attributes, he can be feisty, so he’s best suited to an experienced handler at this time). He string tests to a bit over 16 hands and should have plenty of substance for those wanting a sturdy but more compact type. His dam is incredibly laid back and friendly, and she has good gaits for a heavier type, so the addition of a Hackney has created a fancier but still sensible Knox! He was castrated 5/6/25 and is up to date on trimming, vaccinations, and deworming.
