Adelina is a gorgeous Andalusian (Pura Raza Espanola) mare. She is very gentle and kind with a great willingness to learn and please. She’s exceptionally light and forward with lovely gaits. She has a floaty trot and canter, she collects beautifully and has natural extension. She free-longes to voice command or on longe line. She works nicely both in the arena and on trails (urban and country). By the time she was a seven year old, when I purchased her, she had already foaled twice. So she was started late and has been under saddle with me for about four years. In that time, I’ve just been schooling her in all the foundational skills. I’ve taken it slowly, to ensure consistent development. But she has come a long way since her first rides and with continued training, she has the potential to go far in dressage, working equitation, or field hunt. I ride her mostly for English pleasure, but have just started her in training level dressage. She is also very good around traffic too, stopping quietly at traffic lights, waiting patiently to cross roads, not bothering about fast cars or loud trucks etc. Adelina has learned to stand quietly also to allow me to open/close gates. She blankets, clips, ties, baths, stands quietly for the Ferrier and trailers well. She’s UTD on vaccinations, Coggins and her teeth were done this February. Given she is still learning, I would recommend an intermediate to advanced rider, or a confident beginner with trainer. I have all her current health records and registration documents. I also have plenty of videos too. She loves her cuddles, has a sweet disposition and is a very special girl, so I want her to go to the right home.
