He jumps up to 3 foot with ease but also does cross rails or small verticles very calm, controlled and with a steady pace to and after the fence. He does not get racey at all. Advanced beginners can ride him inside or outside. Trail rides from any position in group or alone. This is the safest and easiest sport horse who will safely teach your child to jump or keep a nervous adult safe. After buying and owning over 55 horses I realized it would have been a lot easier for me if sellers were just up front and honest. Out of respect for the buyer's time and money to go see horses, I want you to know everything right up front. He has only been lame only once right after I first bought him 5 years ago. He had a sacrum ligament strain that we rehabbed. I keep him in shoes because he is a thoroughbred and is sensitive to rocks on the trails. The only bad habit he has is tossing his head in the cross ties. He only does it mildly and he does not toss his head ever under saddle or in the stall or in any other circumstance. This slight bad habit pales in comparison to all his good. I only mention it because I am completely transparent. This is a push button horse who is the same at shows as at home.
