Mickey-
Not for small children or beginners.
Mickey is a 7 year old quarter horse gelding. Standing at 14.1 hands, he is stocky enough to carry an adult. Mickey goes English or Western. Quiet, balanced and rhythmic gaits. Will jump around a small course, has experience with grid work and has been out hunter pacing. Has also been to schooling shows.
On the ground Mickey is quiet and gentle. Is happy to stand tied, loves to be groomed, easy to lead and is good for vet and farrier. He loads great on the trailer as well.
On the trails he will cross water, Bridges, ditches with ease. Not spooky but can have an attitude.
While Mickey has so many positive attributes and lots of potential, he will not work for a child or amateur. He will take advantage of his rider (especially small children) and needs someone that will tell him to move along. will put all new riders to the test . With an experienced rider his naughty “moves” are laughable but can be very intimidating for an inexperienced rider. Was fully vetted last year.
