Meet Y Knot Tapit “Kamikaze.” Kamikaze (or Kaze as he is now referred as after not living up to the bad boy I expected him to be) is a 4 year old, 16.1 hh, unraced gelding I’ve owned since he was a year and a half old colt. Kaze is the sweetest and easiest TB I had ever bought as a project. He is lazy when in work, but very smart and quick to pick up training. He was started over ground poles and cavaletties and has the brain of a nice Hunter. He clips, bathes, loads, and ties with ease and has no current vices or bad tendencies. Though he will try to play ball with you while you’re filling his water. Kaze is being offered as a rehab project. While he’s been backed, a stable accident when he was 2 to his right hock had slowed any riding training. He has had extensive ground and lunging training and as of his last hospital visit he is just on the line of being sound again. Kaze is looking for a home that has the time to let him grow in a better environment than what I can offer. He is easily pasture sound and can handle light to medium work right now and should be able to ramp up within the next six months to more work and possibly riding. All of his vet visits and X-rays can be made available to anyone interested. Once he is recovered fully the vet has claimed he will have no limitations on what he can do so being a Hunter is not out of the question for him. He’s being offered at a small adoption fee with contract currently. He’s got a bright future ahead of him and standing in a 12x24 stall is not what I want for him. Happy to supply pictures and videos to anyone interested and answer any questions. My number is (661) 593-3095 for anyone interested. Located in Southern California.
