Piper is a 11 year old 13 hand champagne pony mare. She has carried beginners all the way through experienced riders absolutely everywhere. Our best family friend has a little boy who has never riding by himself only lead line and he got on her in a halter bareback and rode her all over by himself. If your are looking for a pony to just mosey around and be slow for your kid she is perfect and if your have a kid that wants to go faster she will go but only if you ask her. Will walk trot and lope nice circles both directions she also has a nice turn around. One of the best things and my favorite thing abt this pony is she is never hot if you go fast she will slow right down and walk again. I have pushed cows up on her for roping used her to halter break a donkey she is good to leads stuff off of goes right into water been around dogs, sheep, goats and donkeys she is great around all animals good with other horses, and She has been to rodeos, barrel races, gymkanas, camping, I even takes her on the weekends i spend at my grandparents. Piper will quietly go anywhere. She has done western, English. She jumps and has never refused. Piper is fantastic on the trail and super easy to take anywhere. She runs barrels, poles and all of the gymkana events proficiently. She packs a flag easily and knows a few tricks. I taught her lay down by myself. I have gathered cows on her all over the mountains, sorted on her at home. No buck bite, rear, kick, or strike.
