Cloud is a rare Walkaloosa filly with 2 gait genes and 2 black genes-will always pass on gait gene and black base coat to her foals and will be well gaited riding horse. She also has the classic roan gene and the Appaloosa LP and PATN1 color genes. Homozygous gait genes are very rare as less than 10% of Appaloosa have one. Conformation plays a good part of horses ability to gait so crossing a non-gaited Appaloosa with a gaited horse only gives you 1 gait gene and not the conformation to easily gait. Cloud has gaited naturally from her first steps. She is DNA tested negative of the QH diseases. Her temperament is willing and friendly. Leads, ties, picks up feet. Rare genetics, gait, and calm temperament. She can be registered in Walkaloosa registry. Her 3 year old full sister is a stand out in gaiting and learning to be a dependable trail horse.
