Norchesnes Fellow Petronie. Stable name, Penelope. 2004 Chestnut Cheval Canadien, or French Canadian Mare. Penelope is a super fun all purpose trained zippy little lady! She has been used for dressage, Working equitation, cattle sorting, trail riding, horse fair breed group demos, and lessons. She also just recently went to a Bill Richy Clinic that had them walking through fire lines, smoke clouds, and had various obstacles including a dog, and a police car with sirens. She did amazing! Prior to coming to current owner, she was used in a lesson program as well. She does not do well with a nervous rider, but does fine with confident amateur riders. She also is a wonderful momma and had a beautiful colt in 2024. She’s got your classic compact, chunky, yet athletic build. Very correct and nice movement that is very ridable. She sticks at 14.3, but is robust enough to take up taller or larger bodied riders. Miss P loves having a job and being a spoiled princess and you can do anything with her. She’s always been sound and healthy. Has amazing feet. Great teeth. Is UTD on all health needs. She ties, trailers, clips, bathes etc. Had lived in a mixed herd environment, as well as currently, a boarding stable. Breeding option to Reindance Amaro Iconic available with sale if interested. She’s located at Reindance Canadian Horses in Lacomb, Oregon. Theres an indoor arena for test rides.
