Jilleen's Oldtyme Tune is a rich red 14'2H thick built Morgan mare! Daphne as she is lovingly called is a 8 year old who has done a little bit of everything!
Daphne is incredibly smooth to ride and has been a huge asset to my lesson program. She is very sweet and not marish and does great in a herd or in a stall. She is extremely clean in her stall. In the herd she is usually middle of the pack but never nasty.
Daphne has had 2 beautiful foals and could easily be bred again. She is great with humans around her foals, and teaches them to be great citizens. Under saddle Daphne has been ridden both English and Western. She is amazing at roping where she just finished a ranch retreat with a client tracking the sled, sorting and boxing. Daphne has a natural sit and good whoa.
Under English attire Daphne has jumped 2ft although Jumping is not her thing she will go over fences with style. She is a cute mover in Dressage and would excel in both traditional dressage and western.
Out of the arena Daphne is very forward. She would be a phenomenal endurance and long distance horse. She does not tire and she is not afraid of anything. Bridges, water, deer, you name it she will charge through.
Daphne is best suited for an intermediate rider on the trails due to her eagerness to go, but a timid beginner can ride her easily in the arena.
She is honest and is not dangerous or mean in any way. I am moving away from having lesson horses which is the only reason she is for sale.
Her bloodlines are phenomenal! You can't beat a Caduceus Perilces daughter. And I have the only other daughter so she is a rare gem and her Dam line are amazing Funquest horses and the handsome Whistle Jacket.
