VVR I BE THE PAP aka "Flynn" 6 yo Appendix QH bay gelding standing at 16.2hh. He's ready to be your next 4H, dressage, or show jumping best friend!
On his top side (Quarter Horse side), Flynn's grandsire CORONA CARTEL is an AQHA hall of fame stallion siring horses with points and earnings in a range of disciplines including reining, halter, performance, and racing to name a few. CORONA CARTEL comes from parents also inducted in the AQHA Hall of Fame.
On the bottom is the Thoroughbred lineage coming from CRESCENDO a stallion earning in excess of $158k in racing and trained by Bob Baffert leading racehorse trainer. Flynn comes from some exceptional bloodlines that have also proven to cross over well into other disciplines.
Flynn has been ridden by a teenager the last year under my guidance on a weekly schedule. He is UTD on vaccines, shoeing, and got his dental done this last spring. He is best suited for English disciplines, but wears a western saddle too with no issues. He could be your next phenomenal barrel prospect!
He has no buck, rear, or bite. Lunges, walk, trot, canters correct leads. He's been ridden with correct dressage principles in mind since I've been teaching the pair, and we've been developing his topline and overall strength and balance. Flynn is confident over poles and small jumps currently. He is a forward ride and looks to his rider for confidence and leadership. When ridden with calmness he relaxes and goes to work quite well.
Flynn has also been ridden out on adjacent trails with a group. His perfect partner would be someone who wants to continue to improve his dressage/flatwork to maintain his development of strength and self carriage before going right to jump work. He does well in consistent work but can also go sit in the pasture and come back out without silliness. He currently lives in a group pasture situation and gets along well with other horses.
In addition, Flynn does all the things a solid citizen should do: he cross ties, hard ties, bathes, stands for the farrier and vet, and loves to be groomed. He is sweet and enjoys attention from people. Located at Blue Peak Farm in Tooele Utah, 30 minutes outside of Salt Lake City.
