Fred - 2021 14.1 Grade Gelding

Fred is a 4-year-old gelding with a gentle, quiet mind who’s been a solid, safe partner for my lesson kids and guests. I believe he’d be a great fit for confident beginners or families looking for a good-minded young horse to enjoy and grow with.
He’s been desensitized, rides out quietly alone or in a group, and doesn’t get rattled by new environments. We’ve day worked on him, and he’s been roped off of. He’s a great prospect for playdays, trail rides, or a family horse that will continue to improve with consistent riding.

🔸 Good for farrier and has great feet — we just trim him

🔸 No vices or health issues
Fred is still a young horse, so I won’t advertise him as a “babysitter” just yet. Like any 4-year-old, he’ll test a rider every now and then if allowed, but he’s never been dangerous or hard to correct. He’s never offered to bolt or rear, and the one time he thought about bucking (over a year ago), it was easy to ride through and correct. He’s an honest horse with a sweet, in-your-pocket personality who wants to please, you’ll never lack for a buddy with this guy!
