Huckleberry is a gorgeous 9 year old gelding with an A+ personality! On top of being highly trained, he is the happiest horse that you’ll meet! First to the fence, in your pocket, would be in your lap if you allow it!
Huck has had close to 4 years of professional reining and ranch riding training. His best score in reining is a 72…he’s more of a 68 on most days. Huck has a +1 spin! I haven’t shown him as much in ranch riding, but he has the ability to do pretty transitions. He’s super feelie, and will move just off your leg if needed. He doesn’t have the super low head set, but keeps his head fairly level.
Huck can be ridden by any rider from advanced beginner on up. I’ve taken him on trail rides, and he enjoys about anything!
Huck needs specialty shoeing for his slightly high-low front feet. He has maitentance from a knee surgery 2 years ago to take out some bone chips. He came through that surgery super well and rehabbed great! I don’t think he could handle a full time show career anymore, but he is sound and ready for a job!
