After much thought and with broken hearts, we've made the difficult decision to sell our sweet Thoroughbred gelding, Bentley. With the demands of managing two horses, club soccer, and High School soccer on the horizon, it’s become too much for our 16-year-old daughter to balance it all.
Bentley is an amazing horse with a kind soul, and he truly deserves someone who can give him the time, attention, and love that he thrives on. He’s incredibly special and has so much to offer — he will make someone VERY happy.
This is not an easy decision
Meet Bentley a tall athletic 9 year old Thoroughbred gelding standing 17 hands with a kind eye and tons of try. Bentley is still green, He’s been in consistent full training and is progressing beautifully. Bentley is FANCY, FANCY, FANCY is currently gaining a solid foundation in English, He’s balanced, attentive, and approaches each ride with quiet confidence. His elegant movement, natural rhythm, and uphill build suggest strong potential for disciplines like dressage, jumping and eventing.
He’s started over cross rails and is calm, honest, and soft to the fences. No rushing, just quiet effort. Bentley has three quality gaits, including a beautiful, ground-covering canter.
On the ground, he’s kind and easy to work with, though he’s a big boy who sometimes just needs gentle reminders to stay focused and listen. He is also great for the farrier and easy to bathe. Once he builds a connection with his person, he really tries hard to please and gives you his all every ride. He would thrive with a confident rider or someone with experience to continue shaping him into the star he’s meant to be. The talent, heart, and foundation are there—he just needs the right person to take him forward. Sane, sound, healthy. Vet checks welcome at your own cost. Lots of videos upon request.
