Spartacus is a 17 (maybe a tick taller) hand, BIG barreled Lusitano x Oldenburg 2016 gelding.
Spartacus has many months of excellent professional dressage foundation training, and some experience hacking out, trail riding, and hunter training.
He is still "green" but he has great training under his belt, he loves loves loves to be in regular work and getting all the attention! He is always a barn favorite, he loves people! He loves being groomed, he is perfect for the farrier, big and impressive looking but so gentle and kind.
Sparty loves to hack out on trails and is a VERY easy keeper. He turns out pleasantly with several friends. He is the same horse if ridden 5 days a week or if he has 5 weeks off.
Good mover, for lower level dressage, he might enjoy jumping or hunters too.
Loads easily onto the trailer and travels like a pro. No vices, good manners on the ground and under saddle.
Big solid feet goes barefoot, basic shoes depending on footing. Great for the farrier.
No stable vices.
He’s the horse every trainer loves to have in the barn.

We do not want this horse jumped bigger than 2’6”. Don’t even ask.
We are NOT wanting this horse to join a lesson program and teach 5-6 days per week, to earn his keep. Don’t even ask. We don't want him to be competitive at high level shows, we want his rider to enjoy riding him, learning on him, living with him, and enjoying him. We want him back, we want him sound, and we want him to last for a VERY LONG TIME!!!
