Blemishes: scar on right hind, completely superficial. Never took a lame step on it.
Reason for selling: I’ll be honest, I have dreams of riding at the top with the big dawgs, and this horse just doesn’t have the athleticism that a barrel horse needs or really the want to go run, despite giving it his all in the pen anyway.
Buyers he would fit: Experienced family’s/youth who are looking for an all rounder or horse to simply learn and grow some confidence on.
Buyer he would NOT fit: If you are looking for a horse to take to weekly jackpots with some heightened expectations, Moose is not your guy. He would prefer a home in which he gets to mix life up a bit. As much as this horse is willing to do what his rider wants, as his current owner (who loves this horse to death) I am not willing to let him go somewhere where he will get his legs run off.

To sum up, this horse is a puppy dog trapped in a giant's body, with a heart the size of Texas. He is the horse you come home to from a long day, and he’ll give you the ride you need. He’s got a spice of attitude to go along with his kind personality just to keep life interesting. Moose is a horse that would fit the whole family, he’s got the caretaker personality combined with the perfect ratio of whoa to go.

Walk, trot, lope, and hard stop for a horse his size
Rides in anything, english equipment, hackmores, snaffles, you name it

More about Moose…
He has been used for 4H events: jumping, ranch riding, trail, all gymkhana events, etc.. He has gone to state 4H gymkhana and smoked the competition. Runs in the 3D at most local jackpots, room for improvement if someone really wanted. Has run 23 second poles before with limited time seeing them. He's carried flags, gone through water, seen cows/ buffalo, tracked buffalo, been roped off of, rode bridleless, etc.

All in all, this horse is the one that will show up for you when you need it. If you are simply looking for a horse to enjoy and just trust, Moose checks the boxes.
