Due to the EHV OUT BRAKE and the boarding farms concerns about Biosecurity he will not be shown, until the out brake is under control and no more EHV cases are reported. I appreciate your time and effort in looking at Maui’s add, but the goal is to prevent the spread and potentially the loss of boarders equine partner. Maui is a draft cross rescued from a kill pen in 11/24, I was told he was 18 months , but the vet aged him being 3-5 years. He was a 13.2H starved baby, with a body score of 1.75, who now stands 15H solid. He is a blank slate and can go in any direction. Please note that he will require another 4-6 months of rehab to bring him full circle in his recovery
Maui will be receiving shots and a new coggens pulled Oct. 14, 2025.

The cons for Maui is he is unstarted, will load, tie, loves to be groomed, and need a person with horse experience to train him or a trainer to work with you, he is NOT A HORSE FOR BEGINNERS, sine he has a a lot of energy that needs to be focused in to an job.
The only reason he is seeking a new home is I have a back injury which required fixed fusion.
I will consider doing some trading towards a draft cross between 15-16.2H or will mature that big, prefer it being started, nothing over 16 years. we can work out details on a deal for the right placement for Maui and the right prospect for a horse for me.
