Pretty as a picture and personality to match. This 2015 Welsh/QH mare is about as versatile of a horse that you could add to your barn. Has been a lesson/lease horse for the past four years. Stella is an absolute rock star, taking care of both children and adults. 14.2hh and solid build – just small enough to not be intimidating for children and large enough to carry an adult. Stella is an in your pocket type. Not mare-ish in the least. Super comfortable under saddle and honest to the jumps, with local and regional show miles. Very brave and never stops at a fence. Has been shown by a youth through the 2ft 6 in the hunters and eq. No buck, rear or dirty tricks. While Stella has been ridden English the past 4 years, she was originally a Western horse and could easily transition to the ranch riding world. Has recently started work with a Western rider and although a bit rusty, she is smart and eager to please. Her walk and jog and lateral work are coming back beautifully, just working on slowing the lope down as she builds strength and gets back into shape. Neck reins, moves off your leg. She trail rides alone or with others. Likes to move out on the trail, but not a hot head. Stella is a mare that likes a job and likes to be around her people. She loads, clips and is well behaved for the vet and farrier. She can be turned out with others or alone, live inside or out. Easy keeper. No vices. She loves attention and has excellent ground manners. Has been used for therapy as well as lunge line lessons. Stella would love to find her own person, but has proven herself in a lesson program as well. She is only being offered as her lease ended a few months ago and her lesson program is downsizing.
