Beau (nicknamed "Fat Beau") is a sweet, rotund and gentle registered Arabian gelding from primarily Crabbet/Al-Marah lines. Beau enjoys treats, chilling with his ladies in the pasture, and lots of scratches, especially on his generous rear. Beau also adores children, although he needs more consistent saddle time to be appropriate off the leadline for children (does great on leadline). Beau does well in a controlled environment (arena) but needs more experience out on the trails. He can be looky and a little stubborn, but he is not at all mean or ill tempered. He does best bonding with his person. He can be a bit wary around strangers, until he warms up to you. Same with a new farrier or trailer loading or anything really--he does better once he knows he can trust you! Beau is completely sound and healthy. He's an easy keeper, and he's also a little bit prissy about his looks. He likes to stay clean! He's a beautiful mover, very light on his feet. His sire is a multi-national champion sport horse, and he is well built for dressage/western dressage. I bred him and have owned him his whole life. I don't ride much right now, and it's a shame that such a fantastic boy is just wasting away in my pasture without a job. He very much wants his own person!
