Big Guy is a 7-year-old dark bay/brown OTTB. Since retiring from the track, he has been restarted as a hunter/jumper with a foundation of natural horsemanship groundwork and classical dressage. He has lightly started the lateral movements and is willing and tries hard to please.
He loves to jump and looks for the fences without being hot. He has been ridden and jumped by a competent 9 year old boy but would do best with someone who loves a quirky thoroughbred personality. Once he trusts his person, he gives his all.
He has local show miles up to .85m jumpers but we also think he could excel as a hunter or eventer. At home, he has been jumped up to 1.0m. He has been trail ridden and hauls well off property. He lives in a pasture with a group of geldings.
He is currently barefoot and up to date on vaccinations and dental.
