Adios Judith, 2016, OTTB, bay, gelding. 16.1 hands tall. 11 starts, but hasn’t raced since 2021. We bought him January last year with hope of training him for barrel racing. While he is certainly not slow, he really prefers going fast in a straight line, rather than around barrels. Adios is a beautiful mover, leaps willingly and with ease over fallen trees or other obstacles on the trail, has incredible endurance and would do well with someone who wants to ride for hours. I think he would excel at Fox Hunting or Eventing, Jumping or other long distance riding. He’s soft in the mouth, very sensitive to leg pressure. He’s not spooky, no buck, bite or rear. Loads and trailers well. He’s been used to pony a couple yearlings with no problems. Stands in cross ties, bathes, clips, etc. Confident/intermediate rider recommended because he is fast, forward moving and smart! Adios has a curious, puppy personality. Low man on the totem and gets along with other horses. Has been stalled at night while with his trainer, but lived 24/7 turnout while with me. He developed ulcers earlier this winter but were treated easily. I keep him on Gut X for prevention and haven’t had any issues since. He is UTD on shots, coggins. Teeth floated this summer. PPE at buyer’s expense. Registered Jockey Club Located in Big Rapids, MI. Asking 8,000 OBO More video upon request. Serious inquiries only.
