I currently own a 17-year-old, 14.1-hand Paint cross mare who is safe, kind, and sound, but not well-suited for consistent or demanding riding. Through experience and professional feedback, it has become clear that she would be happiest and most successful in a low-pressure environment—ideally as a light trail horse, companion, or with a very patient and knowledgeable owner who values quiet consistency over performance.
