Starting to put out feelers for a care lease beginning June/July. Looking for a minimum 6-month term, but open to something longer term as well. The horse would serve as a pasture mate for my sport horse at my 6-acre farm. The farm will be ready early summer. Looking for a 16h+ horse, ideally 5–18 years old, with a calm, safe, family-friendly demeanor. Draft cross or “husband horse” type preferred. Horse will be used for trail riding and very low-impact work—beginner-friendly is a must. Preference for barefoot, though some maintenance is okay. Safety and temperament are the top priorities- this horse will be loved on by my kiddos!!!
